I would ask that you pray for a few friends of mine I left behind in Kenya.
One of my friends, an Ethiopian, and a true man of God, has not been home from Kenya to go back to see his family in some two to three years. Recently, in September, his mother passed away from some illness. (more…)

Boundless Line: Teens and Risk-Taking
Finally someone is getting a clue about teenagers. This article cites a Newsweek article about the risks teenagers take and the reasons why they take them: they have made the conclusion that the benefits outweigh the risks. Go figure. This doesn’t surprise me for a second as I have (more…)

This article on Boundless cites an article in a recent Relevant Magazine that says

A Different Kind of War :: Relevant Magazine
This is an article about the godlessness an American soldier saw in Afghanistan while on duty there. It is just a glimpse of what happens when a nation does not serve God first and foremost.

JOLLYBLOGGER: Statistics on Christian Marriages
Here’s an article speaking against the claims that Christians are just as likely to divorce as non-Christians. Why am I not surprised that these numbers were not telling the whole story. For example,
I estimate between 35 and 50 percent less likely than Americans who attend church just nominally, just once or twice a year, or who don’t attend church at all. (more…)

Ok. I thought that I was pushing it when I was suggesting that Bono could be the Anti-christ. I guess I was wrong! Here is a guy who really thought this thing out and even gave arguments points.
He writes that it was all in fun. Nonetheless, there’s some truth to every joke… that’s why they’re funny!
No matter what may happen in this day and age in the Middle East, I believe God’s promises are eternal and God’s people will therefore always be God’s people. Therefore, this is my prayer for the nation of Israel and its descendants all over the world:
Psalm 122
1-2 When they said, “Let’s go to the house of God,” my heart leaped for joy.
And now we’re here, O Jerusalem,
inside Jerusalem’s walls! (more…)
